Visitor Center

The Highland County Visitor Center is located in the upper left room of The Highland Center at 61 Highland Center Drive just off Spruce Street in Monterey.  Stop in for local and regional information and Highland County merchandise.

The Visitor Center is currently unstaffed and open when The Highland Center is open, with typical hours being Monday - Friday from 9 am - 5 pm.  When visiting on weekdays, Chamber staff may be available to assist across the hall from the Visitor Center, and on the weekends, The Gallery of Highland's volunteers may be available to assist to the left of the main auditorium.  The Gallery of Highland room is located close to Visitor Center room as a great addition to The Highland Center where you can shop for beautiful local art.  Please call 540-468-2550 to check availability if you need staff available at The Visitor Center on your visit or if you have specific questions.  If The Highland Center is locked, you can also pick up visitor brochures outside just left of the main entrance, 24/7.

The Highland County Visitor Center is maintained through a joint effort by The Highland County Chamber of Commerce, The Highland Center, and the Highland County Tourism Council.
