The Highland County Recreation Commission invites the residents of Highland County to take advantage of the facilities and programs the Commission has instituted.

Programs available include:

Basketball for All Ages
Youth Soccer
T-Ball
Volleyball
Weight and Exercise Room
Senior Supervised Exercise
Adult Trips
Golf Programs

Current efforts are underway to build a Junior Olympic swimming pool and health and wellness center. The county pool, run for 40 years by the Monterey Lions Club, was closed in 2003 due to repair costs. Major private fundraising is now the top priority of our organization as the county has no available funds for this project.
