Open seven days a week, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, Highs Restaurant specializes in country cooking. Buckwheat and pancakes served all day with Highland-made maple syrup. Step back in time in this country-style café that has served Highland residents for more than 60 years. House specialties include fried chicken, chicken tenders, pulled-pork barbecue sandwiches, and local trout. Home-baked pies and cakes. Food made from scratch and cooked to order. Catered lunches and weddings, including wedding cakes.

Known for gracious dining, memorable meals are served in the historic Monterey Dining Room and the Black Sheep Tavern. The Inn is the local traditional setting to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays. The Inn is also a popular place for club meetings, weddings, receptions and reunions. Daily home-cooked meals. Open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Breakfast menu features scratch-made biscuits & pure Highland County maple syrup. Lunch and dinner specialties include soups, sandwiches, pizza, steak (cooked to order) , seafood, pork & salad bar. Banquet room available for large groups and/or private parties.
